Title: Sr. Structural Engineer

Location: Winter Park, FL or Tampa, FL

Duration: Direct Hire / Permanent

Pay: $100,000 - $130,000 bonus

Ready to take the lead on complex structural projects while helping grow a thriving engineering practice? We're looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to manage projects, mentor technical teams, and deliver innovative solutions for commercial, institutional, industrial, and specialty facilities.

This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to lead projects from assessment through design and construction while building strong client relationships and contributing to business growth.

What You'll Do

• Lead structural assessment, repair, rehabilitation, and retrofit projects from proposal through completion.
• Perform structural evaluations, engineering analysis, calculations, and develop practical repair solutions.
• Prepare engineering reports, construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budgets, and client relationships while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Serve as the technical lead and Engineer of Record on applicable projects.
• Mentor junior engineers, perform QA/QC reviews, and support business development through proposals and client engagement.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 10 years of structural engineering experience, including building assessments, failure investigations, and repair design.
• Strong knowledge of structural systems, steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and applicable building codes (IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC).
• Experience managing projects, working directly with clients, and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Background with commercial, institutional, or industrial facilities is highly desirable.
