Location: North Reading
Pay: $18–$20/hr DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:15 AM–2:45 PM or 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
A Day in the LifeYou clock in, grab your build kit, and open the day's work instructions. With hand and power tools at the ready, you assemble precision electro-mechanical subassemblies that become part of cutting-edge robotic equipment. You double-check torque specs, confirm part numbers, and record results in our production systems. Mid-shift, you pivot to support material flow—scanning parts into inventory, staging components, and keeping the line moving. By day's end, your workspace is reset, your builds pass inspection, and your team hits its goals—safely and efficiently.
Your Impact- Build mechanical and electrical assemblies using detailed instructions, blueprints, and parts lists
- Stage tools, hardware, and materials for each job and perform adjustments or minor repairs as needed
- Support warehouse material handling when needed: scanning, labeling, stocking, and kitting
- Document work accurately in production and inventory systems; maintain traveler and quality records
- Conduct in-process checks to ensure every unit meets strict specifications
- Keep work areas orderly, follow PPE and safety protocols, and collaborate to hit production targets
Basic qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to lift 30 lbs and stand for 7 hours per shift
- Keen attention to detail; able to follow written English instructions
- Comfort with computers and accurate data entry
- Consistent accuracy performing repetitive tasks
- Clear communicator and dependable team player
Preferred experience
- 1 year in manufacturing or production
- Familiarity with ERP, MES, or inventory tools
- Ability to interpret work instructions, drawings, and traveler paperwork
- Knowledge of safe material handling and PPE practices
- Experience with handheld scanners and labeling systems
- Mechanical aptitude; comfortable with hand and power tools
