The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on electromechanical assembly experience, excellent troubleshooting ability, and the confidence to work on cutting-edge products across industries such as aerospace, medical, and advanced technology manufacturing. Candidates should be comfortable working without fully detailed procedures and able to use their technical judgment, experience, and problem-solving skills to complete high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
*
Perform electromechanical assembly on complex, high-quality products and subassemblies.
*
Work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
*
Assemble, wire, solder, crimp, and integrate electrical and mechanical components.
*
Perform manual crimping, soldering, cable assembly, connector installation, and related assembly operations.
*
Read and interpret work instructions, drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
*
Support prototype, low-volume, and custom product builds.
*
Identify assembly issues and communicate concerns to engineering, production, or management.
*
Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and workmanship.
*
Use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, crimping tools, and inspection tools.
*
Support multiple active projects while maintaining organization and attention to detail.
*
Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures.
*
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Required Qualifications
*
8–10 years of relevant electromechanical assembly or technician experience preferred.
*
5–7 years of relevant experience may be considered with an Associate degree or technical training.
*
Strong soldering experience required.
*
Strong manual crimping experience required.
*
Ability to work independently with little supervision.
*
Experience working in a startup, R&D, prototype, or fast-changing manufacturing environment preferred.
*
Ability to work without highly detailed procedures when needed.
*
Strong mechanical aptitude and electrical assembly skills.
*
Experience with cable assembly, wiring, connectors, and harness work.
*
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, or assembly instructions.
*
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
*
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing production needs.
*
Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
Preferred Experience
*
Familiarity with connector and component brands/types such as:

Ferrule connectors
*
Molex
*
TE Connectivity
*
D-sub connectors
*
JST connectors
*
Experience supporting products in aerospace, medical device, or advanced technology environments.

Experience with prototype builds, new product introduction, or low-volume/high-mix production.

IPC or soldering certification is a plus.
