About the Role
An established and rapidly growing metal fabrication company is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join its team.
This is a fast-paced, dynamic role that requires strong problem-solving skills, proactive project management, and clear communication to build and maintain client relationships. This position reports directly to senior leadership within project and shop operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and manage contract drawings and project specifications
- Produce and review erection and fabrication drawings for miscellaneous and architectural metal work
- Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion
- Maintain clear communication with clients, field teams, and internal stakeholders
- Visit construction sites to perform field measurements and site surveys
- Coordinate with fabrication and installation teams throughout project lifecycle
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction project management and/or detailing within metal fabrication
- Strong ability to read and interpret contract drawings and specifications
- Experience with miscellaneous and architectural metals preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience creating job-specific schedules is a plus
