About Us:
Advanced Structural Design, Inc. is a Florida-based structural engineering firm with a strong track record in education, commercial, and municipal projects. We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Engineer (PE) with at least 4 years of experience to lead and execute structural design work from concept to construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed structural analysis and design of building systems (steel, concrete, wood, and masonry)
- Prepare complete structural drawing sets and calculation packages
- Review geotechnical reports and coordinate foundation design
- Develop framing schemes and efficient structural systems
- Analyze loads in accordance with FBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, and other applicable codes
- Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs during construction
- Collaborate with architects and consultants to coordinate structural design
- Conduct site visits to evaluate existing conditions or construction progress
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- 4 years of structural engineering experience with buildings
- Proficiency in structural design software (RISA, RAM, ETABS, Enercalc, etc.)
- Skilled in Revit and AutoCAD for structural documentation is a plus
- Strong technical judgment and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with K-12 or public sector project requirements is a plus
