Responsibilities
Provide executive and administrative support to OGC Attorneys and the Vice President by preparing and reviewing legal, financial, and operational documents; Managing schedules, workflows, and daily operations; Ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations; Serve as Agency Clerk by maintaining official records and coordinating administrative proceedings and appeals; Support budgeting, HR, payroll, purchasing, and contract tracking functions, while conducting research and assisting with reports, assessments, and policy analysis; Maintain confidential filing systems, assists with public records and paralegal tasks as needed, and performs additional duties to support the Division’s overall operations.
Minimum Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalency and eight years of related experience; or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.
Recommended Competencies
Proficient in PeopleSoft, Workday, Revenue Vision, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Teams, DocuSign, and Zoom;
Ability to listen, learn and follow instructions, directives and processes;
Ability to handle telephone calls in a courteous and effective manner;
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing;
Ability to compose routine correspondence;
Ability to carry out administrative functions, which includes, but not limited to travel and board meetings notebooks. Ability to plan, organize and coordinate multiple work assignments;
Ability to collect and research data including for assessment and budgeting purposes;
Ability to timely complete assignments;
Ability to manage extensive workload, meet deadlines and function both as an active team member and independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment while handling sensitive information, including confidential legal records and collective bargaining matters;
Knowledge of ability to interpret and apply related federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations;

This is an USPS (University Support Personnel System) position.
