About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our growing team. We specialize in multifamily, podium, mixed-use, commercial, and large-scale residential construction projects throughout Utah and surrounding markets.

We are looking for someone who enjoys analyzing construction plans, identifying opportunities, developing accurate estimates, building strong contractor relationships, and helping the company win profitable work.
Key Responsibilities
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and addenda.
- Perform detailed electrical takeoffs and quantity surveys.
- Solicit, review, and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.
- Develop accurate labor and material estimates.
- Identify scope gaps, exclusions, assumptions, and potential risk items.
- Prepare bid proposals, estimates, and bid summaries.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and client discussions.
- Track bid opportunities and maintain the estimating pipeline.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Purchasing, and Field Operations.
- Assist with value engineering and project budgeting.
- Support contract reviews and scope clarification discussions.
- Maintain accurate estimating documentation and project records.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of electrical estimating experience.
- Strong understanding of commercial and multifamily electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Strong knowledge of NEC requirements and electrical construction practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and computer-based estimating tools.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with McCormick, Accubid, Bluebeam, Trimble, ConEst, or similar estimating software.
- Previous field experience as an Electrician, Foreman, Superintendent, or Project Manager.
- Experience estimating multifamily, hospitality, commercial, and large-scale residential projects.
- Understanding of Division 26, Division 27, and Division 28 scopes.
Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
