NuWave Electric is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. We specialize in multi-family, podium, mixed use, commercial, and large-scale residential projects throughout Utah and surrounding markets. What You'll Do
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and addenda
- Perform electrical takeoffs and quantity surveys
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes
- Develop accurate labor and material estimates
- Identify scope gaps, exclusions, and risk items
- Prepare bid proposals and bid summaries
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and client discussions
- Track bid opportunities and maintain estimating pipelines
- Collaborate with project managers, purchasing, and field operations
- Assist with value engineering and budgeting efforts
- Support contract reviews and scope clarification discussions
Qualifications Required
- 3 years of electrical estimating experience
- Strong understanding of commercial and multifamily electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Knowledge of NEC requirements and construction practices
- Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills
Qualifications Preferred
- Experience with McCormick, Accubid, Bluebeam, Trimble, ConEst, or similar estimating software
- Previous field experience as an electrician, foreman, or project manager
- Experience estimating multi-family, hospitality, and commercial projects
- Understanding of Division 26, 27, and 28 scopes

Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
