A Day in the LifeYou arrive early, review the job traveler and prints, and begin building a flawless set‑up. You select the right workholding, load tools, dial in offsets, and verify the first piece against tight tolerances. Through the run, you fine‑tune feeds and speeds, keep an eye on tool wear, and capture in‑process checks with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and bore gauges. You document what matters, correct what doesn’t, and send quality parts to the next operation—safely and efficiently.
