General Laborer - Manufacturing

Location: Pewaukee, WI 53072

**Shift: **5:00am - 3:00pm | Mondays - Thursdays

**Rate: **$18 - $19/hour

The General Laborer is responsible for performing a wide variety of manual and support tasks throughout the manufacturing and warehouse environment. This is a hands‑on, “do‑all” role that requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. Duties may range from machine tending and part deburring to packaging, rework, and general facility support to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.

• Perform deburring, cleaning, and finishing of manufactured parts
• Rework parts to meet specifications and quality standards
• Tend machines as assigned and assist operators as needed
• Prepare packaging materials for upcoming work orders
• Package finished parts from work centers according to requirements
• Assist with general warehouse tasks and material handling
• Perform general cleaning and housekeeping of the shop and warehouse
• Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas in a safe and orderly condition
• Perform inventory functions including cycle counts and annual physical inventory
• Assist with building and departmental maintenance as assigned
• Operate shop equipment safely, including forklifts, cranes, micrometers, and calipers
• Identify potential safety concerns and report them to supervisors or appropriate personnel
• Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times
• Other duties as assigned to support production and customer needs

• Manufacturing experience is required!
• Demonstrated longevity and stability in prior work history
• Ability to visually and manually inspect materials and determine acceptable quality
• Ability to understand, follow, and respond to verbal instructions, particularly related to safety
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
• Comfortability in utilizing a wide variety of different manufacturing machines

• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs unassisted; heavier materials with assistance

• Ability to manually manipulate materials, including:- Reaching above shoulder level

  • Climbing and balancing
  • Stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling

• Ability to stand and move throughout the workday in a manufacturing environment

• Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes
• Familiarity with measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
• Prior inventory or warehouse support experience
