Our client, a leading organization in the technology and asset management sector, is seeking a dedicated CMDB Configuration Manager to join their team.

As a CMDB Configuration Manager, you will be part of the IT Operations Department supporting the Asset and Configuration Management team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent collaboration skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CMDB Configuration Manager

Location: Denver, Colorado (hybrid)

Pay Range: $50-55/hour, based on experience

What's the Job?

• Oversee and improve the quality, accuracy, and compliance of Configuration Item (CI) data within the ServiceNow CMDB.
• Lead audits and reconciliations of assets and CIs, ensuring data integrity and proper lifecycle management.
• Manage integrations and troubleshoot data ingestion processes to maintain reliable data flows from third-party sources.
• Enforce standards for hardware configuration and asset-to-service relationships aligned with industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure asset lifecycle processes are followed and data governance is maintained.
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• Proven experience managing a ServiceNow CMDB, including Data Manager, Attestation, and CMDB Health modules.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow IntegrationHub, ETL processes, and third-party data sources.
• Strong understanding of the relationship between asset records and Configuration Items (CIs).
• Solid knowledge of ITIL v4 practices, especially Service Configuration Management and Asset Management.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
