Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Senior SQL Server Developer-CLT (Tableau / Data Engineering Focus) Software Engineer 4 - Contingent to join their team. As a Senior SQL Server Developer-CLT (Tableau / Data Engineering Focus) Software Engineer 4 - Contingent, you will be part of the Data Engineering and Reporting department supporting the Data Solutions team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior SQL Server Developer-CLT (Tableau / Data Engineering Focus) Software Engineer 4 - Contingent

Location: Charlotte, NC (300 Brevard St) only option

Pay Range: $72

What's the Job?

• Owns SQL Server end-to-end development, including building complex stored procedures and performance tuning
• Designs and implements data models and schemas, including star and snowflake schemas
• Translates data into insightful Tableau dashboards for business decision-making
• Works within a regulated, structured environment ensuring compliance and best practices
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams on large-scale data initiatives and complex projects
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 7 years experience with Microsoft SQL Server, with no substitutions for other databases
• Proven expertise in developing database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, and user-defined functions
• At least 5 years experience in performance tuning of SQL queries
• Hands-on experience with Tableau reporting for at least 2 years
• Strong background in data modeling and database design, including normalization and schema development
