Senior Systems Engineer

Our client, a leader in medical device innovation, is seeking a dedicated Senior Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be instrumental in shaping the technical direction of Acute Therapies products. Your expertise will drive key phases of product development, from initial feasibility to post-market surveillance, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and innovative medical solutions. Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

Location: Plymouth, MN

Pay Range: $50 an hour on W2.

What's the Job?

• Support the overall technical direction of medical device products throughout their lifecycle, from development to post-market activities.
• Understand clinical and user needs, translating them into detailed product requirements and design solutions.
• Manage product requirements, traceability, risk management, and design history files to ensure compliance and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues, mitigate risks, and drive innovative solutions.
• Ensure adherence to FDA, ISO, and IEC regulations and standards in all engineering activities.
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• Minimum of three years of experience in medical device systems engineering or related regulated industries.
• Strong knowledge of electro-mechanical and software engineering principles.
• Experience with system modeling languages such as SysML or UML and requirement management tools like DOORS, JIRA, or TrackWise.
• Proficiency in working with multi-disciplinary, global teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills with a proactive approach to technical challenges.
