What's the Job?
- Conduct detailed manual testing of governance, risk, and compliance applications to ensure they meet regulatory and business requirements.
- Write and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional requirements.
- In addition, will be eventually asked to utilize Selenium with Java to automate test scripts, focusing on repetitive and critical test cases for quicker execution and accuracy. This role is primarily a manual testing role but the automation experience is a huge plus.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results, providing detailed defect reports.
- Identify, report, and track defects using JIRA. Work with development and business teams to resolve issues.
- 5 years of experience as a Manual QA Tester.
- Strong experience in testing web-based applications, preferably in governance, risk, or compliance environments.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium for test automation, with proficiency in Java for writing test scripts.
- Experience using JIRA for defect tracking and Confluence for documentation.
- Knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC), particularly Agile/Scrum methodologies.
