Kforce has a client in Charlotte, NC that is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Functional QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in manual functional testing, API validation using Postman, solid SQL skills, and experience working in Agile development environments. The Manual/Automation QA will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure we deliver high-quality, reliable software to our users. Responsibilities:

The Manual/Automation QA will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure we deliver high-quality, reliable software to our users. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and understand requirements, acceptance criteria, and business logic
- Design and execute manual functional test cases based on user stories, requirements, and design documents
- Perform API testing using Postman, validating request/response accuracy, status codes, error handling, and performance
- Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and perform backend testing
- Identify, document, and track bugs in a clear and concise manner using tools such as JIRA
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos
- Contribute to the QA process by suggesting improvements in test strategy and coverage
- Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation and regression test suites
- Experience with Manual Testing, Api Testing in Postman, SQL, Agile, AI
- Understanding and willingness to learn automation quality assurance
- Ability to utilize AI tools
