Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Manual Tester to join their team! This position is located Hybrid in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Duties:
- Execute end-to-end testing across ordering and transactional workflows
- Write and execute detailed test cases based on requirements and system design documentation
- Perform manual testing across multiple system components including front-end and back-end integrations
- Test ordering flows tied to promotional offers and transactional scenarios
- Conduct API and web services testing using tools such as SoapUI
- Analyze request and response data to validate system behavior and identify defects
- Review logs using tools such as Splunk to support troubleshooting and validation efforts
- Perform defect identification, documentation, and triage with clear reproduction steps
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore QA teams to support test execution and coverage
- Participate in testing for large-scale initiatives tied to transactional systems and customer-facing experiences
Desired Skills/Experience:
- 5 years of experience in QA testing with a strong focus on manual testing
- Experience testing complex, end-to-end system integrations
- Strong ability to write and execute test cases based on technical documentation
- Experience with API/web services testing (SoapUI or similar tools)
- Ability to analyze system behavior through logs and debugging tools
- Experience with defect tracking and triage processes
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across distributed teams
- Exposure to automation frameworks (Java, Selenium)
- Experience with SQL for basic data validation
- Experience reviewing system logs using tools such as Splunk
- Background in integration testing across multiple systems

The approximate pay range for this position starting at $80,000 - $90,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
