IT Manager Data Science & AI

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary IT Manager of Data Science & AI to lead our growing team of data science professionals. In this role, you will spearhead the development and delivery of advanced machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, and emerging agentic AI solutions that drive measurable business impact across the enterprise. You will play a pivotal role in shaping, executing, and scaling our enterprise AI and advanced analytics strategy.

Location: TX or OH

Pay Range: $160000- $175000/Year

What’s the Job?

• Lead and manage daily operations of the data science team, providing mentorship and driving a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI and data science initiatives aligned with enterprise priorities.
• Oversee the design, training, validation, and deployment of advanced machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, and agentic AI models.
• Ensure all AI solutions comply with enterprise standards for data governance, ethics, and responsible AI.
• Collaborate with business units, IT, and analytics teams to identify high-impact AI use cases and deliver scalable solutions.
• Monitor emerging AI/ML technologies, tools, and frameworks to maintain a competitive edge and inform investment decisions.
• Establish processes for ongoing monitoring, retraining, and optimization of deployed models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Plan and lead IT projects of low to medium complexity, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards.
• Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of technology systems supporting AI initiatives.
  
  
  

What’s Needed?

• 15-20 years of diversified IT experience required.
• 5 years of experience leading professional staff required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field required.
• Master’s degree in Data Science or Ph.D. in a relevant field (with a focus on machine learning or AI) preferred.
