- Lead and participate in database management activities including designing highly complex MongoDB, EDB PostgreSQL, and YugabyteDB databases.
- Lead highly complex data modeling, mapping, integration, and capacity planning efforts for supported databases.
- Perform planning, research, design, implementation, maintenance, and control of server-class databases.
- Design and implement security solutions including industry benchmarks and auditing practices.
- Develop management policies, procedures, standards, and best practices to ensure optimal database performance and security.
- 4 years of Database Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education.
- Proficiency with MongoDB, EDB PostgreSQL, and YugabyteDB technologies.
- Experience with automation, scripting, and AI integration is preferred.
- Strong understanding of database security, high availability, and replication solutions.
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to influence strategic direction within a team environment.
