What’s the Job?
- Ensure proper functioning of audio, video, lighting and control systems in exhibit and gallery spaces, including but not limited to exhibitions, immersive experiences, and guest facing technology.
- Gain a deep understanding of sitewide Audio, Video, Lighting and networking systems and assist in coordination with integration partners.
- Perform daily maintenance, repairs, and minor system updates as needed.
- Troubleshoot problems to maintain zero downtime as self-performance or with third-party service providers.
- Serve as the point of contact with third-party service providers.
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred, in IT, AV, or a related area.
- Experience working in interactive educational settings, museums, science centers, or guest-focused environments.
- Experience with Qsys, 7thSense, Epson and Absen systems a plus
- DMX, sACN, theatrical lighting fixtures and networks, and track lighting experience a plus
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts.
