Position Overview
Retain It Landscaping is seeking a skilled and dependable Irrigation Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing commercial irrigation systems.

Responsibilities
- Install commercial irrigation systems including pipe, heads, valves, and controllers
- Read and interpret irrigation plans and layouts
- Troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems, leaks, broken heads, valves, and wiring issues
- Program and adjust irrigation controllers and timers
- Perform irrigation system testing and system start-ups
- Assist with winterization and seasonal system maintenance
- Ensure irrigation systems are installed according to project specifications and company standards
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
Qualifications
- Communicate with crew leaders and project managers regarding project progress
- Follow all company safety procedures
- Previous irrigation installation or repair experience preferred
- Knowledge of irrigation components including pipe, valves, heads, controllers, and wiring
- Ability to read irrigation plans and layouts
- Ability to troubleshoot irrigation system issues
- Ability to operate tools and equipment used in irrigation installation
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Frequent bending, kneeling, digging, and lifting
- Ability to work long hours outdoors
Work Schedule
Typical work hours are 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, depending on project schedules and weather conditions.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
