We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our dynamic Irrigation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure efficient water management. The Irrigation Technician will work closely with other team members to deliver high-quality service and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Install irrigation systems according to design specifications, ensuring efficient water coverage and cost-effective operations.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of irrigation systems to identify and resolve issues such as leaks, clogs, and equipment malfunctions.
- Repair and troubleshoot irrigation systems and components, including sprinkler heads, valves, and controllers.
- Utilize and maintain specialized tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Keep detailed records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job to ensure accurate reporting and billing.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about system operation, maintenance needs, and any necessary repairs or upgrades.
Job requirements include:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Indiana backflow license or ability to pass licensing exam.
- Verifiable experience as an Irrigation Technician or similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, tools, and equipment.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Good physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform manual labor.
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
