The Administrative/ Accounting Assistant will support the finance and administrative functions by assisting with accounts receivable, accounts payable, fuel accounting, general accounting support, and various administrative tasks. This role requires prior accounting experience, strong attention to detail and strong communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Assistant to support our management team
Maintain and update dealer files and spreadsheets
Assist office staff with Helios requirements and order supplies for dealer sites as needed
Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with special projects and preparation of basic reports, or summaries.
Provide support for the team members of the Company - screening phone calls and routing callers to the appropriate party.
Handling office tasks, such as filing, scanning, and generating reports.
Support operations tasks, track deadlines, and organize documents.
Greeting visitors.
Process incoming and outgoing shipments when needed
Data Entry
Errands as needed
Handle sensitive information and tasks discreetly
As needed: covering shifts for staff as needed (cross training will be provided)
Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting (required)
1–3 years of experience in A/R, A/P, or general accounting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
