Laundry Attendant/Part-time Housekeeper

Overview

Housekeeping:

• Cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas
• Dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and mopping floors
• Replacing linens and towels
• Replenishing bathroom supplies
• Reporting any maintenance issues
• Following company cleaning protocols and procedures
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Be able to go up stairs

Laundry:

• Sorting, washing, drying, and folding laundry
• Operating laundry equipment (washers, dryers, ironers)
• Removing stains and treating delicate items
• Maintaining laundry room cleanliness and organization
• Ensuring proper inventory of laundry supplies
• Adhering to safety guidelines for handling chemicals and equipment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred Minimum of one year of experience in housekeeping or laundry services but will train right candidate
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends
• Must have reliable transportation

Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects. Climbing stairs and be able to lift 50 lbs.
