What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Housekeeper / Night Auditor (Full-Time) position at Econo Lodge?
Econo Lodge is looking for a reliable and experienced hotel employee to join our team. This position includes both housekeeping and overnight front desk responsibilities.
Schedule
- 2-3 days per week: Housekeeping
- 2-3 nights per week: Overnight Front Desk/Night Audit (12-hour shifts)
Schedules may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
ResponsibilitiesHousekeeping
- Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards
- Clean bathrooms, vacuum, dust, and change linens
- Restock room supplies
- Report maintenance issues
- Help maintain clean public areas as needed
Overnight Front Desk/Night Audit
- Check guests in and out
- Answer phone calls and assist guests
- Handle reservations and payments
- Balance daily reports and complete night audit tasks (training provided if needed)
- Monitor hotel property during overnight hours
- Provide excellent customer service
Requirements
- Previous hotel experience is REQUIRED
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Comfortable working overnight shifts
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical housekeeping duties
- Basic computer skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Background check required before hire
Pay & Benefits
- Starting pay: $9.00/hour
