Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, and sanitation to ensure a spotless environment.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care and attention to detail.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents safely to maintain hygiene standards while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other hotel spaces through regular janitorial practices.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff.
• Manage heavy lifting tasks related to laundry loads or cleaning supplies with proper manual handling techniques.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained for optimal operation.

Skills

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial/janitorial roles within hospitality or industrial cleaning environments.
• Strong knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, including floor care and sanitation practices across various surfaces.
• Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly, understanding safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures.
• Skilled in operating cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, buffers, extractors, and other janitorial tools.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to respond professionally to guest requests or concerns.
• Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures ensures quick response during unforeseen incidents.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and prolonged periods of standing or walking throughout shifts.

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
