Hybrid Schedule: 2 days remote per week

Job Summary:

DNA Partners is representing a leading law firm seeking an M&A Associate to join its Corporate Practice in New York. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 3-6 years of experience handling public and private company transactions who is looking to work on sophisticated mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, and other high-profile corporate matters.

What You'll Do:

• Support public and private M&A transactions from inception through closing

• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, transaction documents, and ancillary agreements

• Manage due diligence processes and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders

• Assist with mergers, stock and asset acquisitions, joint ventures, private placements, and strategic investments

• Oversee transaction timelines, closings, and corporate documentation

• Collaborate with partners, clients, and specialty practice groups on complex transactional matters

• Mentor junior attorneys and support deal execution across multiple concurrent transactions

What You Bring:

• Active New York Bar admission and good standing

• 3-6 years of corporate transactional experience with exposure to M&A matters

• Experience representing public companies and handling sophisticated transactions

• Strong drafting, due diligence, and deal management skills

• Knowledge of securities laws and public company transactions

• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management abilities

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities

• Strong client service skills and eagerness to assume increasing responsibility
