About the Practice
The Mergers & Acquisitions group in New York advises clients on a wide range of complex public and private M&A transactions. The practice focuses on high-value domestic and cross-border deals, working closely with attorneys across corporate, finance, and regulatory disciplines to deliver integrated transaction support.
Attorneys in the group handle sophisticated acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic transactions for public companies, private equity sponsors, and other institutional clients.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking an associate attorney with approximately 4–5 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and related corporate transactional work.
The ideal candidate will have experience with:
- Public and private M&A transactions
- Domestic and cross-border deal work
- Drafting and negotiating transaction agreements
- Coordinating across multiple practice areas on complex transactions
Candidates should have strong academic credentials, peer firm experience, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Compensation
The expected base salary range for this position is $365,000 to $390,000 annually, with final compensation determined based on experience and other job-related factors in accordance with applicable law. This role may be eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.
