Commercial Concrete Operations Manager

I’m partnered with a well-established concrete contractor that is actively seeking a Commercial Concrete Operations Manager to oversee large-scale self-perform and structural concrete projects across the DC / Baltimore region.
This is a leadership role for a proven operator who has successfully managed multiple large concrete projects and can drive field execution, manpower planning, and overall operational performance across complex builds.
About the Role
The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day field operations and project execution across multiple commercial concrete projects. This individual will play a key role in coordinating superintendents, managing production, maintaining schedule performance, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple commercial concrete projects from an operational standpoint
- Lead and support field teams including Superintendents and Foremen
- Drive project execution, production planning, and manpower utilization
- Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
- Coordinate closely with Project Management and executive leadership
- Monitor cost performance and proactively address field challenges
- Maintain strong safety culture across all job sites
- Support preconstruction and planning efforts as needed
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, GC partners, and internal teams
Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in commercial concrete construction
- Strong background managing large-scale concrete projects in the field and/or operations
- Proven experience with project budgets of $10M
- Experience across data centers, healthcare, government, education, or similar large-scale projects
- Strong leadership and ability to manage multiple superintendents and job sites
- Deep understanding of concrete construction methods, sequencing, and field operations
- Excellent communication, scheduling, and problem-solving skills

Salary : $130,000 - $165,000
