Senior Estimator / Preconstruction Manager – Healthcare / K-12 / Higher Education
Locations: Florida, Multiple locations
We are seeking a Senior Estimator or Preconstruction Manager to support large-scale construction projects across multiple office locations. This role will focus on preconstruction strategy, estimating, budgeting, and client collaboration across healthcare, K-12, and higher education construction projects.
The ideal candidate will bring strong estimating experience and transferable preconstruction expertise across complex institutional projects.
Responsibilities
Lead preconstruction and estimating efforts for healthcare, K-12, and higher education projects
Prepare conceptual budgets, detailed cost estimates, and bid proposals
Collaborate with operations, design teams, and owners during preconstruction
Evaluate subcontractor bids and manage bid leveling processes
Develop value engineering strategies and cost optimization solutions
Assist with project planning, procurement strategy, and scheduling
Provide cost analysis and budgeting throughout the design process
Support business development and client presentations as needed
Qualifications
7 years of estimating or preconstruction experience in commercial construction
Experience with healthcare, K-12, or higher education construction projects preferred
Strong knowledge of construction cost estimating and budgeting
Experience working on ground-up construction projects
Ability to manage multiple estimates and preconstruction efforts simultaneously
Strong communication and leadership skills
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
Compensation
Competitive compensation based on experience
Base salary up to $175,000 depending on experience
