Mechanical Construction Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Project Manager to join a growing team in Tucson, AZ. This role will lead the execution of commercial and industrial mechanical projects, with a strong focus on HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.
This is an opportunity to work with a well-established contractor on complex, high-impact projects while playing a key role in client relationships, team leadership, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Oversee HVAC, piping, and plumbing scopes on commercial and industrial projects
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
- Coordinate with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Lead project meetings and provide clear communication on progress, risks, and milestones
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control, and company procedures
- Review drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and constructability
- Manage procurement of materials and subcontractors
- Identify and resolve project challenges proactively
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in mechanical construction
- Strong background in HVAC, piping, and/or plumbing systems
- Experience managing commercial and/or industrial construction projects
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and project controls
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Experience working for a mechanical contractor or subcontractor
- Familiarity with design-build and/or design-assist delivery methods
