This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento.
DMV's Information Systems Division (ISD) is seeking a highly motivate and innovative individual to lead the Vehicle Registration (VR) Product Section. Under the general direction of the Enterprise Applications Branch Chief, the Information Technology (IT) Manager II will be a member of the ISD senior leadership team responsible for leading multi-disciplinary teams that provide high-level administrative oversight for critical projects. Furthermore, the incumbent ensures the Section activities adhere to the Departmental and State regulations, policies, and procedures. The incumbent should have experience in workforce and succession planning; expanding talent recruitment efforts; modernizing core business applications with current technology; and implementing new technology to meet the future needs. The incumbent is an inspirational leader responsible for developing and guiding project teams to become highly efficient and effective team members.
