This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento.

Under the direction of the Information Technology Manager I, the Information Technology Associate (IT Associate) is responsible for administering, configuring, and supporting the cloud-based telephony platform using Microsoft Teams Phone. This position manages voice services, PSTN connectivity, call routing, and device provisioning, while maintaining high availability, reliable voice communication, and call quality across the enterprise for the DMV.

Part-time telework available. Telework requires California residency. This position offers hybrid telework opportunities; however, telework arrangements are subject to change at any time based on State & departmental operational needs. Employees may be required to report to the office as necessary.

Primarily sedentary for extended periods of time. Operates a computer terminal, participates at meetings, conferences, and workshops. This position offers a hybrid telework schedule. Telework requires California residency.

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:

-Demonstrated experience administering VoIP systems, enterprise voice endpoints, or Unified Communications platforms. -Knowledge of Microsoft Teams Voice, Teams Admin Center, Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, and Entra ID. -Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to track issues, identify root causes, and implement effective resolutions. -Understanding of VoIP technologies, call routing, device and firmware management, including tools such as Poly Lens, inTune, and iPilot. -Proficiency in enterprise collaboration tools, including SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams. -Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams via phone, meetings, and email. -Customer-focused mindset with a positive, service-oriented attitude. -Excellent verbal communication, technical documentation, and reporting skills.

Salary : $59,220 - $108,048
