Job Summary

The ideal candidate will work closely with students, particularly in preschool and special education settings, to facilitate their academic and social development. Duties
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities tailored to students' needs.
- Support students with their academic tasks, including math and other subjects, ensuring they understand the material.
- Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students requiring additional assistance.
- Help prepare instructional materials and resources for lessons.
- Foster effective communication with students, parents, and staff to promote student success.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in early childhood education.
Skills
- Experience working with preschool or daycare settings is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and teachers.
- Knowledge of special education practices and behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with lesson planning and early childhood education principles.
- Ability to engage with students positively, encouraging their participation and enthusiasm for learning.
