The Role
As a Principal, you will own the full investment lifecycle – from origination through execution and portfolio management – while representing the firm at the most senior levels of the VC ecosystem. You will also play a meaningful role in shaping firm strategy, mentoring junior talent, and supporting fundraising and LP relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead deal execution end-to-end: structuring, negotiation, due diligence, IC presentations, and transaction close
- Source and originate proprietary primary and secondary opportunities through a senior network of GPs, LPs, and technology executives
- Contribute to investment strategy and expand the firm’s market presence in the US
- Support investor relations, fundraising, and LP communications
- Mentor and develop junior investment team members
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 7–10 years in venture capital, growth equity, private equity, or investment banking with strong technology investing exposure; secondaries or structured investments experience is a strong plus
- Deep understanding of VC/PE fund structures, LP/GP dynamics, and secondary market mechanics, with advanced financial modeling skills
- Proven deal leadership, strong communication skills, and experience presenting to investment committees
- Entrepreneurial mindset; thrives in a lean, fast-moving environment
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the US and be based in, or willing to immediately relocate to, New York City
