Our client is a leading elite boutique investment banking platform with offices globally. The team are currently looking to hire an Associate into their Media & Telecoms team in New York.
This role will be for the Media and Telecoms team in New York providing M&A advice in North America as well as collaborating with colleagues in international offices on cross-border assignments. The team is mostly exposed to M&A transactions in the digital infrastructure and telecoms deals, and are highly active in the space. The broader team in New York covers M&A, Restructuring and Debt/Equity Capital Markets advisory across a broad range of sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Execution of live buy and sell-side transactions in the media and telecoms sector
- Lead the creation of financial models and perform company valuations
- Overseeing and leading the creation and preparation of client presentations in support of new business development and transaction execution
- Developing, analyzing, and presenting historical and projected financial information
- Coordinating and performing business due diligence
- Overseeing the preparation of confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches, and other presentations
- Attend client meetings build and maintain client relationships
Requirements:
Prior sector experience in another investment bank is required. Candidates require a minimum of 3 years prior experience in investment banking, with significant exposure to M&A. Relevant sector experience is preferred.
Salary : $175,000 - $200,000
