A leading middle-market investment bank is seeking a highly motivated Investment Banking Associate to join its Insurance group in New York. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior bankers on a wide range of strategic advisory and capital markets transactions across the insurance ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute M&A transactions, including buy-side and sell-side advisory, from initial pitch through closing
- Support capital raising activities, including equity, debt, and hybrid financings
- Develop and analyze detailed financial models, including valuation, accretion/dilution, and LBO analyses
- Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, and marketing documents
- Conduct industry research and maintain knowledge of trends within insurance and insurance services sectors
- Coordinate due diligence processes and interact with clients, investors, and other advisors
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of investment banking experience
- Prior exposure to sell-side M&A transactions is required
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Salary : $175,000 - $225,000
