What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equity Derivatives Structured Notes Sales position at Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking?
The US Equity Derivatives team at Natixis is seeking an Equity Derivatives Sales professional to join our structured notes business. Our focus is on structured products (stocks and indices), including both OTC flow and structured note issuances for clients based in the Americas.
He/she/they will:
- Leverage market experience and relationships to expand the Natixis Equity Derivatives client franchise.
- Work independently and collaboratively with trading and structuring teams, both locally and globally, to develop tailored solutions for clients and respond to inquiries.
- Quote transactions for clients, primarily focusing on structured note issuances, while also handling flow products and Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS).
- Monitor the US stock market and track derivatives activities occurring on and off platforms.
- Identify client interests for distribution networks.
- Oversee the business development of our US equity and index derivatives operations.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts and developers globally to enhance tools and support sustainable growth
Qualifictions:
- A bachelor’s degree is required; a graduate-level degree with a quantitative focus is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of equities and fixed income finance.
- A minimum of 4 years of market experience in a sales role.
- A proven track record of success, with references available upon request.
- Established customer networks and platform connectivity.
- Understanding of the structured notes framework.
- Strong knowledge of derivatives and options.
- Familiarity with equity derivatives pricing tools and Bloomberg.
- Proficiency in Python, VBA, and Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Capacity to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines, particularly during bidding processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Series 7 and 63 licenses are required.

The salary range for this position will be between $225,000 - 300,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
