Position Overview
The Project Engineer for Heavy Civil Construction will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders and the implementation of engineering principles to optimize construction processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all phases of heavy civil construction projects.
• Conduct site management and coordinate daily activities of construction teams.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Perform cost estimation and budget management for the projects.
• Administer contracts and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations.
• Implement safety management practices to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct quality control inspections and audits to adhere to project specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Utilize AutoCAD to prepare and review construction documents and designs.
• Conduct structural analysis and provide engineering solutions as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in heavy civil construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and construction management practices.
• Experience in cost estimation and budgeting.
• Familiarity with contract administration and stakeholder management.
• Proficient in scheduling software and project management tools.
• Knowledge of safety management practices in construction environments.
• Ability to perform quality control inspections and understand construction documents.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other civil engineering software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
