A well-established specialty contractor is seeking a Project Manager - Drywall and Steel Stud Framing to support commercial construction projects. This role is responsible for managing drywall, metal stud framing, and interior finishes projects from preconstruction through closeout while partnering closely with senior leadership, field teams, and clients to ensure successful execution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage drywall and steel stud framing projects from preconstruction planning through completion.
- Review contracts, drawings, and specifications to fully understand project scope, materials, and execution requirements.
- Lead preconstruction meetings to align teams on scope, safety expectations, quality standards, and production goals.
- Coordinate closely with senior project leadership to ensure project objectives, budgets, and schedules are met.
- Perform regular jobsite walks to monitor progress, safety compliance, workmanship, and schedule adherence.
- Identify potential scope gaps, change conditions, and constructability issues early in the project lifecycle.
- Manage project resources, labor projections, and cost controls to support overall project financial performance.
- Prepare, track, and manage change orders, including pricing, documentation, and client communication.
- Maintain proactive communication with field leadership to support production planning and execution.
- Review work-in-progress reporting and billing accuracy throughout the project.
- Coordinate closeout activities, including final change orders, billing resolution, and payment collection.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or Project Manager in commercial construction.
- Strong background in drywall, steel stud framing, or interior construction project management.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Working knowledge of estimating and pricing changes related to drywall and framing scopes.
- Proficiency with construction document and plan review tools such as Bluebeam, PlanGrid, or similar platforms.
- Experience using estimating software such as OST or QuickBid preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
