A well-established wall and ceiling contractor is seeking a Drywall Project Manager / Estimator to support commercial construction projects throughout the Indianapolis area. This role will play a key part in both preconstruction and project execution, managing drywall, metal stud framing, and interior systems from estimating through closeout. The position works closely with operations leadership, field teams, and general contractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate drywall and metal stud framing estimates for commercial construction projects.
- Perform quantity takeoffs, labor analysis, and pricing using OnCenter Software.
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to fully understand project scope and requirements.
- Solicit and evaluate pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
- Develop bid proposals, scope clarifications, alternates, and value engineering options.
- Transition awarded projects from estimating into execution with project management oversight.
- Manage drywall and framing projects from preconstruction through completion.
- Coordinate with superintendents and field teams to support production planning and execution.
- Conduct jobsite walks to monitor progress, quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
- Track project costs, labor forecasts, and work-in-progress reporting.
- Prepare, review, and manage change orders including pricing and documentation.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients, general contractors, and internal teams.
- Support project closeout activities including final billing, documentation, and payment collection.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in drywall, metal stud framing, or interior systems.
- Hands-on experience using OnCenter Software for takeoffs and estimating is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Working knowledge of estimating and pricing change orders for drywall and framing scopes.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, PlanGrid, or similar construction document platforms.
- Experience with OST or QuickBid is a plus.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
