What are the responsibilities and job description for the Freelance Packaging Workflow Coordinator - Project Management position at Creative Circle?
Our client is a busy creative team of a major food company seeking a Packaging Workflow Coordinator for Indigo, their internal system for packaging art workflow.
This assignment will start at 20 hours/week and ideally increase after a few months.
The Packaging Workflow Coordinator will ideally work onsite 1-2 days/week in the office in Somerset County, New Jersey office and will be provided with a company PC laptop.
They may also consider fully remote candidates who have experience with Indigo or a similar routing / approval system.
Working closely with the Creative Coordinator and Packaging Managers, the Packaging Workflow Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Setting up and maintaining packaging projects within the workflow
- Routing artwork to the appropriate cross-functional reviewers
- Tracking approvals, revisions, deadlines, and project status
- Coordinating feedback among Creative, Brand, Regulatory, QA and other partners
- Managing printer proofs and final approval documentation
- Helping ensure projects move through the system accurately and on schedule
The Packaging Workflow Coordinator must have:
- Experience in packaging project management, artwork routing or production coordination
- Willingness and ability to learn a proprietary system quickly (training will be provided on Indigo)
- Experience using a system for routing artwork, obtaining approvals, tracking changes, etc. is preferred
Note: this is not a hands-on design role, and hands-on design experience is not required, however experience working within a design environment and an understanding of design terminology is required.
Prior experience in Indigo (formerly known as CP3) is a bonus!
