The Line Cook at Craig’s Nashville is responsible for executing dishes with precision, consistency, and care. This role requires deep focus, clean technique, and a commitment to excellence in every plate. Line cooks at Craig’s operate in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen that values professionalism, preparation, and teamwork above all else.

 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute menu items according to Craig’s recipes and plating standards.
• Work assigned stations (grill, sauté, fry, garde manger, etc.) efficiently and with discipline.
• Maintain strict sanitation, food safety, and cleanliness standards throughout each shift.
• Participate in daily prep, line setup, and breakdown with attention to detail.
• Communicate clearly with team members and chefs to ensure service runs smoothly.
• Stay calm under pressure and execute orders with accuracy and urgency during peak service.

 Qualifications & Experience

• 2 years experience in a professional kitchen, preferably high-volume or fine dining.
• Strong knife skills, culinary technique, and sense of urgency.
• Able to follow direction and work independently within a disciplined brigade-style team.
• Reliable, punctual, and focused on consistent execution.
• Passion for hospitality, craft, and excellence in food preparation.

 Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Fast-paced, close-quarters team environment demanding stamina, coordination, and focus.
