The Financial Management Division plans, implements and guides all financial related activities of Covered California, including finance, accounting, forecasting, budgeting and governmental compliance. Our Financial Management Division, Financial Reporting, Revenues and Risk Management Unit is searching for someone who has not only the ability to lead others effectively however someone who has advanced data analytical skills that can demonstrate consistent good judgement.
As an Accounting Administrator II, you will:
- Lead and manage the daily, monthly, and yearly recording of financial transactions for complete and accurate financial reporting.
- Plan, organize, manage, and direct the work activities of the fiscal reporting teams.
- Develops and establishes accounting policies, processes, and procedures.
- Evaluate staff performance, prepare probation reports and annual performance appraisals.

Salary: $7,872.00 - $9,781.00 per Month

Qualifications We’re Looking For:
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast past environment, multi-task, and lead others effectively.
- Ability to analyze existing business processes and procedures, draw sound conclusions, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Advanced data analytic skills.
- Demonstrate consistent good judgement in making technical accounting, operational and administrative decisions.
