RESPONSIBILITIES
What you can expect day-to-day
While no day is the same, the following are the core responsibilities of the Personal Injury Attorney:
- Monitor and review cases to ensure excellent service
- Communicate professionally with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers to resolve a case efficiently and for the highest possible settlement
- Negotiate claims with insurance attorneys and defense counsel to meet monthly goals
- Review medical records and bills for utilization in case development
- Supervise legal support staff and give direction on cases
- Perform cost/benefit analysis of settlement vs. litigation
- Promptly communicate with clients with empathy and compassion
- Correspond frequently with clients and opposing counsel
- Support attorneys and staff within the pre-litigation team
- Analyze and summarize legal documents
- Legal research and drafting of a wide range of legal documents
REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree
- Juris Doctor (JD) Degree
- An active member of the State Bar in good standing
- 3 years of personal injury-related experience, whether on the plaintiff or defense side of the docket

- Self-starter and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Multi-tasker who responds to tasks with urgency
