We are seeking a Vice President, Operations – New Openings & Growth, to lead the operational strategy and execution of our rapidly expanding store footprint.
This leader will build and scale the systems, teams, and processes required to successfully open, launch, and stabilize new We store across multiple markets. The role will partner closely with Real Estate, Construction, Training, HR, and Field Operations to ensure new stores open on time, operate at peak performance, and deliver the high-energy guest experience that defines the We brand.
This person will play a critical role in translating our aggressive growth strategy into repeatable, scalable operational execution, ensuring new stores launch with the right teams, training, and operational discipline.

New Stand Opening Strategy & Execution
- Lead the operational strategy and execution of new stand openings across all markets.
- Continuously enhance and evolve existing new store opening playbooks, systems, and processes to support future growth.
- Ensure every new stand launches with exceptional operational readiness, staffing, training, and leadership support.
- Oversee opening timelines, readiness reviews, launch execution, and post-opening stabilization efforts.
- Establish scalable operational frameworks that enable consistent execution regardless of market size, geography, or growth pace.
Growth Strategy & Operational Scaling
- Translate aggressive growth objectives into scalable operational execution plans.
- Partner closely with Development, Real Estate, and Construction teams to align operational readiness with development timelines.
- Evaluate growth initiatives and expansion strategies through an operational lens to ensure long-term sustainability and performance.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve processes as organizational complexity increases.
- Help shape the operational infrastructure required to support continued enterprise growth.
Data, Analytics & Business Performance
- Serve as a key strategic thought partner in evaluating the operational effectiveness of growth initiatives and enterprise programs.
- Utilize data and analytics to identify the true drivers of operational excellence, efficiency, and stand performance.
- Analyze trends, performance indicators, and operational metrics to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to assess new processes, technologies, and initiatives, providing guidance on what represents best-in-class execution and where adjustments are needed.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators related to stand openings, operational readiness, stabilization, productivity, and long-term performance.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Enterprise Influence
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams across Development, Construction, HR, Training, Marketing, Supply Chain, Technology, and Operations.
- Ensure all operational components—including staffing, training, equipment, inventory, systems, and processes—are fully aligned prior to opening.
- Provide operational expertise and strategic input to enterprise initiatives that impact stand performance and scalability.
- Drive alignment across departments to ensure growth objectives are achieved without compromising operational excellence.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on operational strategy, scalability, and execution.

- Lead and develop a large, multi-layered organization supporting New Stand Openings, Growth Operations, and cross-functional operational initiatives.
- Provide leadership and direction to a team whose influence spans hundreds of employees across NSO, NSG, and operational support functions.
- Build leadership capability within the organization and create a strong pipeline of future operational leaders.
- Mentor and develop leaders responsible for stand openings, growth execution, and early-stage performance.
- Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Track and improve key performance metrics, including:

MUST-HAVE INGREDIENTS...
IDEAL EXPERIENCE
- 12–15 years of progressive leadership experience in multi-unit operations within high-growth QSR, drive-thru, retail, hospitality, beverage, or consumer service environments.
- Proven success leading large-scale new unit openings, market expansion initiatives, or enterprise growth programs.
- Experience leading large organizations and influencing teams that collectively impact hundreds of employees across multiple markets and regions.
- Demonstrated success operating in highly complex, fast-growing organizations with aggressive expansion goals.
- Strong experience using data, analytics, and operational metrics to drive performance improvements and business decisions.
- Proven ability to evaluate operational effectiveness, identify performance drivers, and implement scalable solutions.
- Experience supporting rapid growth environments with significant annual opening volumes and increasing organizational complexity.
- Demonstrated success scaling operations across multiple regions, markets, or business units.
- Experience working within company-owned and/or franchise operating models.
- Strong understanding of drive-thru operations and guest-focused service environments.
- Experience leading geographically dispersed teams through periods of rapid growth and organizational change.
