- Generate and distribute monthly tenant rent invoices in accordance with lease agreements
- Monitor tenant accounts, follow up on past-due balances, and manage collections activity
- As an AR Specialist, you'll post and apply tenant payments (checks, ACH, wire) and reconcile AR accounts in systems such as Yardi, MRI, or AppFolio
- Maintain accurate records of tenant balances, deposits, and charges
- Collaborate with property management to resolve billing disputes and tenant inquiries
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, preparing AR reports and supporting reconciliations
- Generate AR aging reports and provide analysis to management
- Support internal and external audit requests with documentation and explanations
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- 2 years of AR experience
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
