What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and support critical pieces of the month-end and year-end close process
- Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and reporting packages for leadership
- Manage fund and grant tracking, compliance reporting, and restricted funding activity
- Partner with program and operational leaders to support budgeting and financial decision-making
- Assist with audits and help strengthen accounting processes and internal controls
- Contribute to a finance team that is highly visible and deeply involved in organizational strategy
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Nonprofit accounting experience is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of grants, fund accounting, and financial reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort learning/managing accounting systems
- Someone proactive, organized, and eager to contribute beyond the debits and credits
