Job Responsibilities
- Lead accounting operations by overseeing financial reporting, account reconciliations, and general ledger management activities.
- Direct month end and year end close processes to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent financial results.
- Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting procedures, and compliance practices that support strong financial governance.
- Serve as the primary accounting contact for audits, regulatory reviews, and financial reporting requirements.
- Lead accounting integration, system improvement, and automation initiatives that enhance efficiency and standardization.
- A Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Maintain an active CPA license and strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.
- 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership of multi entity accounting functions.
- Demonstrate experience designing and maintaining internal controls, compliance programs, and audit support processes.
- Possess experience managing accounting operations, team leadership responsibilities, and financial close activities.
- Apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate complex accounting matters and financial reporting issues.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead teams across multiple locations while developing talent and improving performance.
- Communicate effectively with executives, auditors, regulators, and cross functional business partners.
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to financial policies.
- Bring experience with public accounting, healthcare related accounting environments, enterprise system implementations, or acquisition integration projects considered beneficial.
