Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accounts Receivable Specialist to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $25.00 to $30.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances to support timely payments.
Record incoming payments accurately and research account issues to maintain accurate financial records.
Resolve billing concerns and payment discrepancies by coordinating with customers and internal teams.
Review customer account activity, maintain account records, and assist with credit related requests.
Support monthly accounting activities by preparing account reconciliations and improving collection processes.
Demonstrate strong communication skills when interacting with customers and internal departments.
Maintain excellent organizational skills while handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
Apply sound judgment and problem solving abilities to resolve account issues efficiently.
Deliver professional customer service during sensitive payment discussions.
Utilize strong attention to detail when reviewing transactions and maintaining records.
3 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, credit, or a related accounting function.
Understand account reconciliation practices and customer payment processes.
Use Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications proficiently.
Work with accounting systems effectively, with enterprise software experience considered a plus.
Manage a high volume workload while maintaining accuracy and meeting established deadlines.
