What You Will Do In This Role
- Triage, assess, and provide care to patients of all ages
- Identify expected outcomes and develop individualized care plans
- Implement nursing strategies and alternatives to achieve desired outcomes
- Manage multiple patient cases simultaneously while prioritizing care based on urgency
- Deliver follow-up care instructions and make appropriate referrals
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and other hospital departments
- Maintain patient safety and ensure high-quality standards of care
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of recent Acute Care ER RN experience required
- Licensure:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida, or multistate license, or ability to obtain before start date
- Education:
- Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – required prior to start
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or ACLS Instructor – required within 90 days of start
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or PALS Instructor – required within 90 days of start
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention – required within 90 days of start
