Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department
- Monitor patient conditions and perform triage as needed
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions
- Support a culture of safety, teamwork, and excellence
- Minimum of 1 year recent acute care experience in Emergency Room (ER) required
- Valid RN license in the state of Florida, multistate license, or ability to obtain prior to start
- Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to start date
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required within 90 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (or instructor) required within 90 days of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (or instructor) required within 90 days of hire
